Formerly a Yale philosopher, now an Oxford philosopher. Co-founder of the World Transhumanist Association. Polymath; writer on various topics, including superintelligence, the Singularity, anthropics, Artificial Intelligence, and Existential Risks. Notable papers include "How Long Until Superintelligence?", "Existential Risks - Human Extinction Scenarios and Related Hazards", and "Ethical Issues in Advanced Artificial Intelligence".
