What about illuminating quotations as well? No need to reinvent the wheel if it's already out there.
And should undesirable scenarios also be written up? "It's 10 in the morning and you've just come in for work. It seems like an average day. Everything is as usual. Suddenly, you cease to exist."
Quotations are okay, but I doubt that any fit the format we need. If you can find one, go for it.
We need a little bit more to go on than `cease to exist', but writing about existential disasters is certainly of interest.
